Storeroom Attendant

Full Time, Night Shift, Hourly Position

Candidates Must Be Able to Learn to:

Perform all Level I and lower level duties.
Works/controls authorized documents including but not limited to pick lists, pack lists, receiving documents, Temporary Change Notices, transformer release packages, and various computer reports as required.
Performs with direction and supervision a wide variety of functions required for proper material movement and storage to support production and shipment schedules.
Physical and electronic receipt of material into stores/quality control.
Recording movement and storage of material on applicable documents or data entry screens.
Generation of pack lists, pick lists, and general shipping lists to facilitate product shipment.
Maintain stock locations and counts.
Preparing and packaging material for shipment to customers or vendors.
May be required to transport material to and from vendors using company supplied vehicles.
Move material between departments to facilitate product flow using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or fork trucks.
Remove scrap material as required.
Verify count and condition of material received into stores from vendors or Delta Star, Inc. operations.
Perform basic cycle counts of material assigned.
Perform all plating operations needed in the shop.
De-spool all wire for packaging
Prepare core steel reels for shipping to customers and/or vendor.
Performs all other duties assigned by a Level IV, Level V, or Supervisor

The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and or Experience:
Up to six months related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language skills:
Ability to read and write and comprehend simple instructions.
Mathematical skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 70 pounds with assistance.
