Shot Blast

Night Shift Opportunity

Full Time, Hourly Position

​

Candidates must be able to learn to:

• Perform all lower level and level I duties with assistance

• Operates and performs shot blaster duties. Dip articles in liquid

• Operate high pressure water cleaning equipment to clean grease and other materials off of transformers

• Operate the overhead crane under the supervision of higher level employees

• Complete all necessary DIR's & paperwork under the supervision of higher level blasters. Add grit to recovery room as needed to maintain a quality cleaning of material

• Operates shot blasting equipment using steel grit to clean various materials in an enclosed room. Turn equipment on and off and clean as required

• Inspect quality of blast with assistance of upper levels

• Report any unusual or faulty condition to a supervisor, Level IV, or Level V

• Completes other duties assigned by a supervisor, Level IV, or Level V

• Train and inspect with some assistance

• Good attendance

• Train all lower level employees
