Material Handler
Purpose
Candidate must be able to load, unload, and move materials within or near the manufacturing area, performing any combination of the following duties:
Job Duties

Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved.

Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, and shelves by hand.

Conveys material to or from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck, dolly, or other device.

Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage.

Cut cable to drawing specifications and fill out cut sheets.

Kit hardware based on job specific release packages.
Requirements

High School Diploma, GED or it's equivalent with at least 6 months of experience in the filed or in a related area.

Ability to read and write and comprehend simple instructions.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

Must be able to operate forklift or other material handling equipment.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Able to regularly lift and move up to 70 pounds with assistance.

Able to climb ladders.

Use fall protection equipment.
